How to Measure
Measuring for Wall Decor
- 1. Identify your wall space - Measure the available wall area where you plan to hang your custom sign or canvas.
- 2. Consider surrounding decor - Allow at least 6-8 inches of space between your new piece and existing wall decor or furniture.
- 3. Check viewing distance - For text-based signs, ensure the size is appropriate for the typical viewing distance in your space.
- 4. Account for framing - If you plan to frame your item, add 1-2 inches to each dimension to account for the frame.
Measuring for Apparel
- 1. Chest - Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape measure parallel to the floor.
- 2. Length - Measure from the highest point of your shoulder to the bottom hem.
- 3. Sleeve - Measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve.
- Tip: If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit.
